Why is the NHS still using such treatments on adolescents and young adults?

There has to be a question arising about informed consent if the treatment is experimental and the outcomes unknowable.

In addition, it is our experience that at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, there are other issues at play resulting in a culture where espoused practice (i.e. what they say they do) differs from enacted practice.
