Our Duty in conjunction with the Coalition for Parental Rights developed model Parental Notification Policies that can be adopted by your child’s school board. These model policies are designed to follow the U.S. Constitution, and ensure that schools do not endanger the health and well-being of children in their care by failing to notify parents of important developments such as their child experiencing untreated gender dysphoria.

Model Policies:

Original Model Policy – Chino Valley School District
This is the policy adopted by Chino Valley Unified School District – the first district to remove the school secrecy policy.

Updated Model School Policy (addressing school counseling)
This policy was adopted with the exceptions of a few edits by Orange Unified School District.

Alternative Model School Policy (Name Policy)

This policy is the current recommended version.
