It is important that those with the power to amplify our message or to legislate listen to what we have to say. Advocacy on its own is not enough. For our letters to be read by the right people, for our messages to be given the attention that they deserve, then those in power must recognize our standing. We must demand attention and have that demand met. This is why we demonstrate – so that Our Duty is recognized as standing for families against the propaganda put forth that we know to be false.
