The gender fairy flew in the window one day, creeping through every door until it found it my lonely daughter. She sat with her, listened to her, mesmerized her, and then went in for the kill. The fairly stripped her of her self-worth and told her that she could magically shed her sorrow by reemerging as a happy boy. Then, the fairy flew back out the window in search of the next house with a vulnerable kid.

Happily, I was able to stop the flow of the fairy’s poison before my daughter’s brain was completely corrupted; she was 13 so I had more control. And then I got angry.  I found the other angry parents. We spent a few months believing that every gender critical article that came out was an indication that the nightmare was ending. We lost our minds when Abigail Shrier’s book came out. Remember the November 24, 2021 Washington Post op-ed with Dr. Edwards-Leeper and Dr. Erica Anderson that warned that children were not receiving the right mental health assessments that the social contagion was real?  We all cheered.  We high-fived each other when the Reuter’s article came out. We talked about our favorite moments in What is a Woman? (Mine was Dr. Mariam Grossman). We cried for the children but slept better once Jaime Reed blew the whistle. We watch state after state pass bans on gender interventions.

The cracks are there.  The thick wall is starting to wobble. If we all push at the same time, it will fall over. But we have to hurry – the schools are still creating gender dysphoric kids and the bullet train is still flying off to the butcheries.

Hundreds of groups have mobilized to dismantle the juggernaut. We are at a precipice.  We can either tumble back into hell or more towards reality. Let’s choose reality.  We can only affect change if we get out of our paralyzed fear and take to the streets. Did you see Canada’s #1MillionMarch4Children?

If not you, then who?  If not now, then when? If not this, then what?

We are doing a worldwide march on October 21st.  Gender critical groups and parental rights groups are joining forces to march to protect children from gender harms and sexualization of kids.
