What is Our Duty?

Our Duty is a group of parents and their supporters who know that the medical pathway for young people with gender dysphoria is harmful. We support each other and work to improve the provision of beneficial healthcare for our families.

Our Duty is to protect our children from serious harm

Our Duty is run by volunteers.

Almost all our volunteers are parents of children who think they are transgender.

Consequently, we have our own difficulties to manage which have to come first.

This makes it challenging to work towards the greater good with any consistency.

It would be wonderful if we could do the following:

  • Be available 24/7
  • Provide subsidised (ideally free) psychotherapy for families and dysphoric adolescents
  • Support more families (especially the unwaged and low-income families) – to attend our meetings
  • Improve our support resources
  • Pay our administration bills without relying on our founders
  • Pay legal fees
  • Raise our profile so more families can find us
  • Employ staff (counsellors and administrators, particularly)
  • Free up volunteers to perform more support and more advocacy

…and extend and improve our advocacy so that ultimately, we shall change society to stop harming our kids.

Please donate.

Any amount, no matter how small will make a difference – it all adds up!

Our Duty is to support each other

There are parents who have yet to realize that they are not alone, help us reach them.
