Available research indicates that most adolescents (e.g. 89% of girls and 71% of boys) identifying as transgender are same-sex attracted (Holt, 2014).
Our Duty is proud to be associated with LGB Alliance, Gays Against Groomers and Lesbians United, as well as other like-minded organisations, in the fight against gender ideology and the harm that it is doing to LGB Youth.
Our lesbians don’t want to be lesbians: “it’s a porn category”.
Our sensitive boys don’t want to be men: “masculinity is toxic”.
There is a resurgence of homophobia in our society, and a solution that echoes conversion therapy at the ready: if you are gay or lesbian then perhaps consider transitioning your body so that you give an appearance of being heterosexual. Unsurprisingly, internalised homophobia is well on the rise.
But there’s more to it than that.
Once there were LGB clubs and societies, places kids could go to find their tribe and be comfortable in who they were.
Nowadays, such places of support have been replaced by LGBTQ+ affinity groups. The TQ+ element is insidious.
Narcissistic, straight males promote transgenderism in vain attempts to “validate” their autogynephilic identities. These men often have other paraphilias or sexual tendencies born out of questionable ethics. it is not known how many of these people are also paedophiles, only we are finding out that many of them are. A whole cohort of narcissists from all walks of life, that take the matter of identity and sexual development into their own hands has been growing in number. The transactivist movement is everywhere. It perilously purports to help vulnerable people, a majority of them young, lesbian, gay, or bisexual.
These groups inveigle their way into schools. They design sex education material that seeks to make adopting transgender identities acceptable and present it to children as young as three. They attempt to “queer” society – effectively grooming kids to accept sexual behaviours that are inappropriate for their age. As well as schools, they seek to influence police, local and national governments, hospitals and universities.
If we are to safeguard our children against those who would corrupt them, we must help them reject the TQ+ in all its forms.
It is heartening to see so many in the LGB community who recognise these perils and are standing up to reject gender ideology and the harms that it brings.
