Blue hair? Unusual piercings? Tattoo? It is all part of the process.

All these radical or trendy changes to appearance are done to test boundaries. They are designed to get parents used to them doing stuff that would traditionally meet with disapproval.

The peer pressure upon them, from those pushing them to transition, to adopt these looks is part of the grooming process.

Kids are encouraged to do things that will get other people looking at them as if they are weirdos so that when they start to pretend to be the opposite sex, they are used to it. Because let’s face it, that’s when they all look weird.

If they are used to the effects their weird appearance has on others, particularly their family, then they are better equipped to endure the problems that come with imitating the opposite sex. Trans fashion is by design.
