WPATH Files Released

New report brings together damning evidence.

Leaked files from WPATH reveal widespread medical malpractice on children and vulnerable adults. WPATH is considered by those organisations which have been captured by its ideology as the leading global scientific and medical authority on “gender medicine,” and in recent decades, its Standards of Care have shaped the guidance, policies and practices of governments, medical associations, public health systems and private clinics across the world.

“The WPATH Files show that what is called ‘gender medicine’ is neither science nor medicine,” said Michael Shellenberger, President and founder of Environmental Progress. “The experiments are not randomized, double-blind, or controlled. It’s not medicine since the first rule is to do no harm. And that requires informed consent.”

The WPATH Files demonstrate that WPATH is failing patients in all the ways that we, as parents of those affected, have known about for a long while.

  • WPATH is conducting an unregulated experiment on some of the most vulnerable people in society.
  • WPATH members are violating the ethical and legal requirement of obtaining informed consent.
  • Members appear to have little concern for the long term outcome of patients.
  • Members are aware that cross-sex hormones have debilitating and potentially fatal side effects.
  • WPATH members know that puberty blockers are experimental and have adverse consequences.
  • Young patients do not understand the physical effects of sex-trait modification interventions and, therefore, cannot give cognitive consent.
  • WPATH members are aware that adolescents are not developmentally able to consent to iatrogenic fertility loss.
  • WPATH has no respect for the Hippocratic Oath.
  • WPATH members dismiss stories of detransitioner regret.
  • WPATH doctors are knowingly experimenting on patients with hormones and surgeries.
  • Patients with severe mental health issues are being allowed to consent to invasive, life-altering medical interventions without any attempt to first address their mental distress.
  • WPATH members know there is significant regret in young patients.

What is groundbreaking in this report is that all these examples are brought together in one place and so present an overwhelming case that WPATH has no place as an arbiter of ethical, evidence-based healthcare for those with transgender ideation.

Progress and Priorities

Our Duty now has 9 chapters worldwide, our newest is in South Africa, following our recent addition in New Zealand, with UK, Australia, Canada and 4 in USA. Of course, it is at once disheartening to learn of so many families in need of our support, and yet reassuring that parents are finding us, and finding our message a compelling one. No, your child is not transgender, they just think that they are.

As we enter our sixth year of operation, we have become experts in how transgender ideation manifests and develops. We also know better than most how to address the various challenges that arise. One key ambition for us is to document and professionalise our knowledge so that its delivery becomes scalable.

With much progress having been made worldwide in advancing the protection of children exposed to the harms of gender medicine. Our focus can shift to raising the profile of the harms done to vulnerable young adults. We know that over half of the parents who come to us have children over the age of 18, and frankly they deserve the same protection from the medical practice that threatens minors.

Erin Friday explained this case very well when she appeared on Peter Boghossian’s YouTube channel:

We are keeping up the pressure on politicians and on the bodies that regulate our schools and healthcare. It really feels as if we are making solid progress and being heard.

As ever, our continued operations rely on the generosity of our supporters. We are making a positive contribution (much behind the scenes), and if you can, too, we can achieve our goals, and ultimately a safer world for our children. Thank you.
